Week in the Life: Monday

Landon plays outside on the front porch.
Halloween decorations on the fireplace.

Cole concentrates on his cards and beats me at Star Wars go fish.
Crosstitching Kyle's Christmas Stocking.
Lots of laundry to do.
Kyle coaches Kaleb's soccer practice.
Cole does a handstand to keep himself warm (without assistance) on the soccer field.

Here is how my Monday, October 6, 2008 went:

8 am: out of bed

make breakfast for me and the kids

get kids (Cole and Kaleb) ready for school

8:30: Kaleb and Cole off to school

check emails/blogs

clean up living room

start laundry

crosstitch 30 min while watching Dora with Landon

10 am:fold clothes/switch laundry

decorate for Halloween

download digital freebies on computer

clean up computer hardrive

fold clothes/switch laundry

11:45 am: Cole comes home from kindergarten

we eat lunch--sandwiches

play Star Wars go fish with Cole

12:30 pm: check on Landon (playing outside)

take a shower

pay Cole 25 cents to unload dishwasher

clean kitchen

2 pm: let Peter the Rabbit out of his cage

check mail

fold clothes/switch laundry

clean family room

change Landon from potty training accident

4pm: Kaleb comes home from school (1st grade)

fold and put away last load of laundry for day

work on crosstitch stocking

watch CSI

5pm: help Kaleb find his stuff for soccer

Kyle gets home

family goes to Kaleb's soccer practice

5:30: help Kyle coach soccer

6:45: home from soccer

make dinner--pork chops, mashed potatoes and green beans

7:30:dinner, showers and bed for kids

8:15:start fire in wood stove

watch Dancing with the Stars (recorded)

10 pm: go to bed
