At the Lake

We went to Mancos State Park, to Jackson Lake, for a baseball end of year bbq.
I took some pictures of the lake and surrounding area.

A hiking trail through the trees.

The shoreline.

It was a great day to hang out by the lake.

The water is so low this year. Here is the normal water line on the trees. The roots aren't even in the water right now. We haven't had much solid rain all summer.

The boys hanging out.

The coaches gave the boys plaques for winning 2nd place in the division.

Kaleb got most improved for the team this year.

Baseball over. On to football. Heaven help us!

Swimming at the Pond

We went swimming at a friend's pond the other day. The boys just love it there. They love driving the paddleboat and jumping on the trampoline.

I took alot more pictures, but I didn't want to post the ones that have other people's kids in them. I'll save those for the scrapbook. We love swimming in the summertime!

Landon's Birthday Photo Shoot

Last night, we finally got to do Landon's birthday photo shoot. It has been raining so much lately we haven't been able to. So we went up to the local elementary school for the photo shoot.
I had lots of ideas in my head of what we were going to do, and I think they turned out pretty well.
Landon was really cooperative and it was a beautiful evening.
I took A TON of pictures, and these are my favorites.

Love those blue eyes.
And eyelashes.

I love this one because it is a real laugh, not a fake smile.

Eyelashes again.

I think this is my favorite picture. Love the way he looks here.

I love his little feet. That is one thing I don't want to forget when he is older.

After I took a bunch of the pictures I wanted, I let him play on the playground while I took more pictures.

Slide.

Swings.

I was so excited to do this photo shoot with Landon and it turned out even better than I expected. I know I still have alot to learn, but I am very pleased with my progress. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
