Christmas Tubing

Christmas afternoon we went to some friends' house to tube in the snow.
Here are the boys tubing behind the 4 wheeler on the road to the pond:

Once they got out on the pond, they had a blast tubing behind the 4 wheeler.

The hardest part to learn is how to let go when you lose your tube.

Kaleb got some snow burn after he lost his tube:

Landon lost his tube too and wasn't very happy about it.

I love this one because it shows he put his boots on the wrong feet.

The boys (including Kyle) had a blast out on the frozen pond and with our friends.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning the boys woke us up at 7 am (I told them they couldn't wake us up til it was light outside) to open presents. Here are a few of the things we got:

It was a Nerf Christmas this year, which turned into several Nerf wars throughout the day.

Have a Merry Nerf Christmas!

Live Nativity

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is the live nativity we participate in at our church.
This year our turn was on Christmas Eve, which really helps us remember the reason for the season.

Merry Christmas!

Sledding @ Chicken Creek

Saturday morning we went up to Chicken Creek trailhead in Mancos to do some sledding while Kyle practiced his cross-country skiing (it is a cc skiing trail).
The boys and I had fun sledding while he skied, and I got so many fun pictures. Here are a few of my favorites ( I know there is still a lot).
I especially love this one of Cole.

Cole and Landon laying in the snow.

Landon got grumpy when his brothers hit him with too many snowballs.

He went and hid behind a tree.

I showed Cole how to use my camera and he took these of me. One of my new years resolutions will be to get in front of the camera more.

Kaleb and Cole had sledding races.

Kaleb loves to eat snow.

Snowball fight.

Here is Kyle on his cross country skis.

Landon fell a lot on the sled, but I think he enjoyed it.

Sledding is one of our most fun winter activities. We are so thankful to have snow this year!

Snow Day!

On Wednesday, the boys were only at school an hour before they called a snow day. After a couple of hours at home, the skies started to clear and the boys went out in the snow to play.
We had this huge icicle by the front door. I was worried it might go through the window when it melted, but luckily it didn't.

Kaleb loves to eat snow.

Landon gets grumpy in the snow because his brothers always hit him with snowballs. It is tough to be the youngest.

Happy snow day!
