Geyser Springs Hike

On Monday, we went up to Dunton to the cabin. Just down the road, there is a great hike up to Geyser Springs. It is the only natural Geyser in Colorado. It is a beautiful place.

The bridge we took to start the trail because the river was too high to cross on the rocks.

I chased this butterfly around on the trail to get his picture.

I didn't make it to the top (where the geyser was), so I stayed behind while they finished the hike. I took lots of pictures while I waited, including this little caterpillar.

Cole and the river.

This is where we usually cross the river, but it is too high from spring run off right now.

Everything was so green and pretty here.

The path through the trees.

Kyle is ready to hike.

My three cowboys getting ready for the hike.

A stream that crossed the trail up to the geyser.

We live in such a beautiful part of the country. It is so fun to get out and enjoy it on a nice day.
