The reason we went on our most recent trip to Texas was for a family reunion on Kyle's side.
The reunion was in Glen Rose, TX. Right across the street from where we were staying was a river the kids could play in.
They had fun playing with cousins they don't see very often.
Here are all the great grandkids of Kyle's grandmother.
David wanted to play ball with the big kids.
On Saturday we went to the Dinosaur Valley State Park for our activity.
The kids played in the river there and saw big dinosaurs and their tracks.
Once we got back to the reunion the kids played water games with their cousins.
Aunt Trisha had to explain to Landon (who was pitching in kickball) that he shouldn't throw so hard to the little kids. He was serious about winning.
The reunion ended with a late night campfire and smores. We had a great time at the reunion and enjoyed seeing family we haven't seen in a long time. Hopefully we will have these reunions more often so that our kids will know these cousins better.
