Gingerbread Houses

While we were in Texas the kids at school made gingerbread houses. The teachers were nice enough to send all the stuff home with the boys for them to make one too.

Snow at Home

When we got home from Texas there was quite a bit of snow on the ground. It was our first real snow of the season and it was a welcome site.

Here is what the house looked like on Monday morning. I love how a new blanket of snow makes the house look.

The cats did not like the snow. Sam was the only one that would go out in it and that was only because he was following me. When I stopped he meowed for me to pick him up and take him back to the house.

Trip to Texas: Mimi's House

Our next stop after the Slate side was to see my mother at her house. We opened presents there and went shopping.

We had a good visit. After mom's house, we went down to Waco for the wedding festivities.

Trip To Texas: Six Flags and Family

We were able to use our season passes one last time to Six Flags during this trip.

My dad went with us and we had alot of fun.

Landon isn't big enough to ride all the rides, but he will ride anything he is tall enough for.

All the boys love rides and rollercoasters.

 The boys really love the Superman ride. Kinda crazy!

Holiday in the Park is so fun. I love seeing the park all lit up in Christmas lights.

That first weekend we stayed with my grandparents. We had a nice visit and I am glad they got to see the boys.

What a great way to start off our trip.

Trip to Texas: Da's Wedding

 We went to Texas last week for Kyle's Dad's wedding. His mother passed away 4 years ago and we are so happy his dad has found Olga to spend the rest of his life with.

The wedding was performed at the San Antonio Texas LDS Temple. It was dark when they got out, so only a few of the pictures turned out any good. They had a professional photographer at the reception, so I can't wait to see those pictures!
