Hawaii-Whale Watching

On Friday morning, we got up early to catch our whale watching boat back at Waikiki.

We didn't see a whole lot of whales, but we got a great view of the coast and enjoyed the boat ride.

Diamond Head.

We saw a couple of whales, but they never came all the way out of the water. I was hoping for a full body shot, but just got fins and tails.

It was a nice way to spend the morning.

Hawaii-Hanauma Bay

My favorite place of the whole trip was Hanauma Bay! We went snorkeling there on Thursday and it was amazing. The water was so blue and gorgeous. The water was calm and there were many reefs to explore. Kyle and I went here alone and we had a wonderful time. We saw so many beautiful, multi-colored fish while we were snorkeling. We even saw a sea turtle out in the "wild" of the ocean. I will never forget this place.

By the time we were getting ready to leave, there were hardly any people in the water. I was able to get these very serene, postcard shots of the blue bay.

Now this place is paradise!

Hawaii-Electric Beach

On Wednesday, we went to Aloha Stadium for their swap meet. We bought our souvenirs there and had so much to choose from. After lunch, we went over on the other side of the island to electric beach. A local had suggested this little unknown beach to us, so we thought we would try it out.

It was a great little beach.

I even got a picture of a sea turtle in the water there.

At the beach the men tried to go snorkeling. It was pretty rough, wavy water though so I didn't try.

We stayed to watch the sunset at that beach. It was beautiful.

Another day over in Hawaii.

Hawaii-North Shore

After the Dole Plantation, we wandered up to the north shore for some time in the sun by the ocean. We stayed for dinner and to watch the sunset. The town of Haleiwa is at the peak of north beach and has a very "surfer" feel to it. It was pretty cool.

We went to a ukelele shop.

Da and Olga at Sunset Beach (at sunset).

What a way to end the day!
